Sheep Of Delight Crochet
Somehow, I ended up with an extraordinary amount of pink yarn in my yarn stash.  This Basic Roselet helps cut that down.  Use it as a stand-alone project or as an embellishment for shawls or curtains.

Gauge- Not important
Finished Measurements- 1 ½ ” tall x 2 ¼ ”wide
Worsted Weight Yarn Colors-
                 .35 oz Peaches & Creme Tea Rose Cotton Yarn #01042
                 .05 oz Peaches & Creme Sage Green Cotton Yarn #01084
Materials-
                 F/5 (3.75 MM) crochet hook
                 Yarn or tapestry needle
                 Scissors
                 Stitchmarkers
                 Polyester Fiberfill
Special stitches-
                 Back Loop Only: Insert the hook through the back loop of the stitch only (the loop         closest to the inside of the round).  Then complete the stitch as usual.
                 Half Double Crochet: Yarn over.  Insert the hook through the indicated stitch or space.             Yarn over and pull through.  With three loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through             all three loops at once to complete the stitch.

Center
Use Tea Rose yarn.
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc  in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: [Inc, Sc 2] rep 2 times around (8 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc 8 (8 sts)
Rnd 4: [Dec, Sc 2] rep 2 times (6 sts)
Rnd 5: Work this round in the BLO.  3 Sc in the first 2 st.  In the third st, (Sc 2, Hdc).  Leave the rest of the round unworked.
Finish off with a slip stitch and weave in ends.  Wrap the overhanging stitches diagonally downward across the body of the piece and sew in place to finish.
Petals
Use Tea Rose yarn. Make 4. (Feel free to add more if you want a fuller rose).
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc  in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: [Inc, Sc] rep 3 times around (9 sts)
Rnd 3: [Inc, Sc 2] rep 3 times (12 sts)
Rnd 4: BLO (Sc 3) rep 6 times.  Leave the rest of the round unworked.
 Finish off with a slip stitch and weave in ends. 
Leaves
Use Sage Green yarn.
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc  in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: Inc 6 (12 sts)
Rnd 3: [(In one st: Sc, Ch 3, starting in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in the ch-sts, Sc again to anchor) Sl St in the next unworked st] rep 6 times around.
 Finish off with a slip stitch and weave in ends. 

Finishing-

Sew the Petals around the center, overlapping them slightly.  Then sew the Leaves to the bottom to hold it all together.  All done!
